Try to rename any Folder by the name as “CON”, it will not accept it. Every wondered Why?
Well the simple reason behind it is, Windows have reserved some names that cannot be used to name the folders. These names are used only by windows. These are ‘DOS’ device names.
Not only these u can try some more words given below.
The following are the reserved device names cannot be used as the name of a file or a folder.
CON, PRN, AUX, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, and LPT9.
