Truecrypt, another software which proves that it is the most powerful encrypting freeware software present today. I was amazed by this tool by its features and Encrypting Techniques.
Firstly this software is a freeware, and it is used for total security solution of your data. It is basically a disk encryption software that works by creating a new secure partition. It creates a virtual encrypted disk for the data, and encrypts it completely. The encryption is automatic, real fast and real easy. It gives you freedom to choose from different algorithms like AES, Serpent, Twofish, and combination as well. It also provides three option to choose from Hash Algorithm being RIPEMD-160, SHA-1, Whirlpool.
All these might be new to you but for professionals who understand their meaning, can easily look into details of it.
That’s not all, professionals can also look for creating their own keys.
Now, this software is really easy to use, at every point there are links given that take you the Softwares site and gives you the information about that. As said that it works by creating a new volume on a disk, but that is made within the mounted disk. Both the formating and the mounting of the disk is done by TrueCrypt only. Once created it appears in the Explorer.
In the end this software will ask you to choose from different keys of an algorithm Randomly. you choose it, see it and Encrypt you data through it.
