Today I will be telling you about some of the Firefox add ons which are a must have. In case you don’t use Firefox as your browser, then I would suggest you to download it, and then only you will come to know what the power of Firefox is.
Fasterfox - This is main add on, which every Firefox should have. The purpose of this add on is to speed up browsing. It achieves it by changing some browser settings. It increases the speed by its unique prefetching mechanism. whenever you are idle them during that time, it take some cookies and files and stores them for future purpose. A small ticker moves below so as to let you know that in how much time the page was loaded.

Adblock Plus - This is one of the most downloaded scripts. As the name suggests, its use is to block Ad’s, but don’t fear about anything, it just filters out ad’s from those servers which are in its list. This list can be easily edited and more server names can be added to it. By adding on the Google server to the banned list, we saw that it was very much effective and no Google ads came in. Sage - This little script is used as a RSS feeds reader. After you have installed it, you need to add the feeds manually. Already three of the feeds are given to you, but you can get some more easily. It does have almost every feature that a normal online feed reader has. It give you all the feeds captions in sidebar and in the main page it displays the main content. If you select a particular post, then it will show you in the main frame. If you are not comfortable with Google reader, Yahoo, MSN or any other, you can go for this one.

Scribefire - Earlier called Performancing, this script integrates blogging platform like Blogger, Wordpress, Myspace etc…With this script you get a small icon in the status bar and by clicking that you will get a small integrated screen that lets you write as well as publish posts. This is no less then a professional blogging software. Firstly you need to manually configure the script by choosing your blogging platform and Login details. After that you can easily write in any post and publish very easily. Its a must try for all new bloggers, including me. Infact this post has been posted by using the Scribefire script only.
