FolderBox is a free extension for Windows that enables you to display the contents of different folders in a single window. It allows you to open different frames within the same window to let you open different folders under the same window. Folder Box come as a Freeware and a paid version, and we will be talking of Freeware obviously. The only difference between the free and the paid version is that it can handle 10 frames instead of 5 frames handled by free version.
Now coming to the point, this software allows to go open different folders and you can transfer data from one folder to another without opening a new window. Apart from that, these frames work as normal window. You can also create new frames and set a directory to open every time when that frame is opened. Within these folders you can copy, move, open or delete files and directories.
After installing the Software, you might be required a reboot and after that you need to enable it every time to work. After it is enabled, it is easy to work with. To add the frames, you need to open the Folder box Configuration window and choose a folder box, give a name and define a directory to open. You can also use the filter to filter down the files you are looking for. Also you can choose the option to show the sub-folder and other directories. Apart from that this will show you all the files, including the hidden files. So its really easy now to get you data assembled in you computer.
