Boot Into Xp With Non GUI Boot

By VJ | Aug 2, 2007

If in case you don’t want to see the Windows Xp’s boot logo, then in that case you can disable it and your system will boot into Xp in Non GUI. This will make the booting of Windows a bit faster, but wont have a big effect. Here’s what you need to do.

  1. Go to Start –> Run and type “msconfig”.
  2. Go to the boot.ini tab, and select you Operating System, in case you are using multiple OS’s on a single system.
  3. Tick /NOGUIBOOT, and apply it. Reboot your system, and you will feel the difference.

This won’t be much useful but still i wanted to share as i knew it :)

I have tried this trick before in XP, simple one, but then everyone would like to see a screen when the OS is booting. :D
