For all those who loves chatting on Gtalk, and if you miss it when not with computer, here is a solution which will make bond between you and your Gtalk more stronger.
Go Talk Mobile provides a small software for J2ME enabled mobiles (you can check your compatible handsets here) that lets you chat through Gtalk.

All you need is a J2ME enabled cell phone and a Active GPRS connection. However it compresses data packets and thus saving on money you are charged for using your GPRS connection. This is good as most of the service providers charge according to amount of data transferred. It can send IM’s to computers and other phones as well. You can work more with phone and it keeps on working in the background.

Gtalk Mobile

The application size is pretty small, and the biggest thing is its FREE of cost.

I was using TALKONAUT as it even supports VOIP. This seems pretty small application and hence will fulfil the purpose who want to use it just for texting. Does it support voice ??
